Are these good enough credentials to become a firefighter/Paramedic/Rescue worker?
Hello, an American male, 22 years of age, and these are my credentials/resume, I am wondering if they are enough to get a good paying job as a firefighter/paramedic/rescue worker in the USA (Western Coast, California). I might also be interested in getting a similar job in continental Europe (Denmark-Norway, so would these help as well?) Here they are: 2 Year degree in Fire Science(Local Community College) 2 Year degree in Fire Protection(Same college, though I double majored on these 2 subjects) Certified Red Card Holder(Professional certification in Wild land fire suppression and equipment) Certified Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic(highest category, goes from basic, intermediate, to paramedic in my state) 500 Hours of Volunteer work at my Local Fire Department (Santa Ana, California) 1000 Hours of Volunteer work at the Search and Rescue (Mt. Baldy, California) I was also in the Fireman Explorer program when I was 15-17 years old, is a program for youth that is to teach them the core competency of being a firefighter and helps getting them in physical and mental shape to do so, there is no certification for it, but I got a small certificate proving I did it and showing my hours. The only problem is that I don't have a high school diploma, I dropped out because I did not have enough credits (Because I was home schooled the first 2 years of highschool, and my district did not recognize my first 2 years, so my choices were to continue high school until I was 20 years old, or start my career training at 18, I chose the latter, and I'm hoping I dont have to pay for it.) Thanks in advance.

I don't know of a department in California that doesn't require either a high school diploma or a GED. You will need one of those before even applying.

Denmark and Norway are two separate countries. They split 200 years ago

I am also in So Cal, and you WILL need your GED or Diploma. if you have the college credits look into challenging the GED test. take it, pass it, get the piece of paper.
